Accommodation:
5 suites (3 with fireplace) and 5 double rooms – 3 of these double rooms can accommodate an extra bed. All rooms have showers and one room has a bath. All have views of the ancient amphitheatre of Dodona (Dodoni) and the Dodona valley.
There is a Coffee/Lounge bar and an a la carte Restaurant in the hotel which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners have paid a lot of care and attention to the design and décor of the hotel. The furnishings and fittings were designed specifically for the hotel.
This elegant and traditional motel is located in the village of Mantio, not far from the new Egnatia highway which will link Igoumenitsa on the west coast of Greece with Thessaloniki in the east. Only 15 kms from the centre of Ioannina but in the heart of the countryside.
Mirtali was finished in the summer of 2007 and is ideally placed to visit the Zagori villages and the Vikos-Aoos National Park, Ioannina, Metsovo and Meteora and of course the ancient amphitheatre of Dodona. Unusually for the mountains it is only 40 minutes from the sea and numerous beaches.
Ioannina has a wide range of café bars, restaurants and shops and the nearby Perama caves are certainly worth a visit.
