Ground floor: Main entrance into an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area (full cooking facilities). The living area has a fireplace and 2 sets of French windows that open onto a terrace. 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath/shower. 2 steps lead up to 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, and French windows that open onto a large terrace that surrounds the swimming pool. First floor: 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath/shower. French windows that open onto a balcony with a table and chairs.

Outside:
Electric gates protect the private driveway and beautifully kept shrub and flower beds (from the goats!). Olive groves are to the rear and a steep hillside covered in Maquis descends to the sea below. Natural stone walls separate the natural landscape from the gardens. Tiled terraces with Natalie railings surround the private pool at each villa. Incredible, uninterrupted views across the bay. All paths, terraces and the pool are lit at night. Parking area. B.B.Q. What a prime spot to build two villas? The views take in rolling hills of natural vegetation, olive groves, the village of Spartohori, and the bay below of Spilia then across the sea to Lefkada and mainland Greece. It is not a view you could get bored of. You can lie on your sunbed beside the pool and watch all the comings and goings of the island, especially when the ferry comes in. Built on top of a hill, it is only a few minutes drive along a quiet agricultural track from the village, not far to go for a taverna at night or groceries to stock the fridge. There is also a good butcher, a baker and a few mini-markets to obtain supplies. On foot you can cut through to the village using the old donkey track which only takes 10 minutes. The bay below is a further 15­minutes walk should you wish to take your own motor boat out or to go for a swim. Although a shingle beach, it is perfectly comfortable for sunbathing and for shoeless children to play on. A couple of tavernas offer refreshment throughout the day.

The owners Betty and Nontas, have created two lovely, bright spacious villas in Elizabeth and Natalie. They are so proud of their achievement and put in every effort to ensure their guests are made welcome and have a great time. Betty keeps them immaculate and likes adding more trinkets – I think as a sign of good luck! The villas are identical but are set on different levels making one quite private from the other. As soon as you enter the front door you feel a homely welcome. There are good-sized comfortable sofas, coffee tables, a dining table and chairs and a well planned kitchen, all in this large room. Two of the bedrooms also share the same fabulous views across the bay. The swimming pool is quite large and can provide hours of fun for the children. Whether you choose a motor boat or a car with this villa, you can seek out other bays to swim and snorkel or visit the other pretty fishing village of Vathi.

N.B. Our package price includes a Group C car (or a 15 hp boat) for up to 5 people and 2 cars for 6 people (or a 25 hp boat) for the full duration of your stay. Also included are return taxi transfers from the airport and return boat transfers from Lefkada to Meganissi. If you choose a car then boat hire is highly recommended and can be rented daily, weekly or for the full duration of your stay.
