Accommodation:
Ground floor: An open-plan living/dining/kitchen area (full cooking facilities). The living area has French windows that open onto a terrace. 2 twin bedrooms both have en-suite bathrooms with bath/shower, and French windows open onto the adjoining terrace.

First floor: A marble staircase up to 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath/shower. 2 sets of French windows open onto a balcony and verandah.

Outside:
Each villa has steps from the terrace down to a large patio with patio furniture and B.B.Q. Private swimming pool. Gardens. Natural stone terracing, walling and steps lit at night. Parking area. SEA VIEWS.

New in summer 2004 Villas Eleni and Aphrodite are now popular and established within our portfolio. The owner Takis and his wife oversaw the building of the villas and have nurtured the gardens so they provide colour and privacy. There are spacious gardens, patios and large swimming pools that offer hours of entertainment to active children.

These villas are situated on a fertile plateau above Spilia bay. The views from the verandah are extensive and stretch across the farmland and village of Spartohori, to the sea and beyond to mainland Greece. It is an idyllic location for families or perhaps a group of friends who wish to holiday together. There is space and privacy, and all the necessary amenities can be found in the nearby village of Spartohori just 5 minutes walk along the road.

There are tavernas within the village and in Spilia bayjust 15 minutes walk down below. By car it is just a 5 minute drive or in less than 10 minutes you can drive to the next harbour of Vathi and enjoy a meal on the harbour side. Many sailors seek refuge in the harbours at night, adding a buzz of atmosphere to the village. During the day the harbours empty and there is a sea of white sails darting to and from the numerous islands and mainland Greece.

Every day there is a car ferry that chugs over from Lefkada to Meganissi. As it rounds the corner to dock, there is a flurry of activity from the villages. Cars and trucks turn up to collect passengers and cargo as they spill onto the quay. In a matter of minutes, the harbour returns to a sleepy lull. A trip on the ferry only takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on how long it docks at the other harbour of Vathi. Of course, you could do this yourself in your own boat, visiting the other islands along the way. There are many little bays and coves to explore. Take a picnic with you and some snorkelling kit. You will be amazed at the diversity of the underwater world. If you have a little motor boat, which is moored in the harbour below, you can explore numerous coves and bays and the tiny neighbouring islands.

N.B. Our package price includes a Group C car (or a 15 hp boat) for up to 5 people and 2 cars for 6 people (or a 25 hp boat) for the full duration of your stay. Also included are return taxi transfers from the airport and return boat transfers from Lefkada to Meganissi. If you choose a car then boat hire is highly recommended and can be rented daily, weekly or for the full duration of your stay.
