Accommodation:
Ground floor: Main entrance into a living/dining area with a fireplace, some sliding patio doors that open onto a verandah with patio furniture and a second set of sliding doors that lead to three steps up to the pool. A large kitchen area (full cooking facilities), with sliding patio doors onto the adjoining verandah. 1 double bedroom with sliding patio doors that open onto a verandah. 1 family bathroom with bath/shower.
Lower floor: An internal staircase leads down to 2 twin bedrooms; both have en-suite bathrooms with showers, and sliding patio doors opening onto an adjoining terrace.
Outside: A long driveway skirts a hillside to 3 luxurious private villas, separate from one another and all set in their own spacious grounds. Private parking area. Natural stone walls, patios and terraces and shrub beds surround the area. Private infinity swimming pool, patio with sunbeds and patio furniture. A flight of steps lead down to a natural stone patio and original terrace with a B.B.Q. All paths, patios and pool are lit at night. PANORAMIC SEA AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS.

When we built villa Skala in 2004 the aim was to construct a top quality spacious property and this has been achieved. The privacy of this villa and the most breathtaking views are already making it highly sought after. Facing east, it is possible to lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the mountains of mainland Greece. The living/dining area shares the same wonderful views and breakfast on the verandah is likely to be taken at a leisurely pace. There is nothing to interrupt this view. The villa has a blue theme throughout with soft lighting and modern furniture to relax indoors on a cool evening. Outside, comfortable patio furniture has been provided so that after a dip in the infinity pool, you will just want to lie back and soak in the tranquillity.

Skala is Greek for “stairs” or terraces, and many were made in this area so the growing and harvesting of crops was easier on such steep slopes. They are now overgrown and it is only the occasional bell on a sheep or goat that may be heard as they roam the hillside and forage through the olive groves. Below the villa is a steep hillside covered in lush green Maquis until it reaches the waters edge far below. The unmade access road leads down to Poros village, just a 5minute drive, and splits so you can turn left for the beach or right to join the main road. This traditional little village can provide a good meal and a welcome but you can always drive a little further and enjoy a meal at Mikros Gialos beach. Nidri is 20 minutes by car and here you will find banks, post office and many shops selling a wide range of goods. You can participate in sailing and other water sports from here; perhaps hire a boat and motor across to Meganissi.

Many guests will struggle to venture far from this villa. It is definitely for those who want to get away from it all and just enjoy views you will never tire of.

N.B. Our villa price includes a 4 wheel drive for up to 5 people and two 4 wheel drives for 6 people for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/ returned to the airport.
