Accommodation:
Main entrance into a vestibule leading through to an open
plan living/dining/kitchen area (full cooking facilities) with a
fireplace, and French windows that open onto a verandah
with patio furniture. 1 double bedroom with en-suite
bathroom with shower, and French windows open onto a
balcony. 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with
shower, and French windows open onto a verandah.
Outside:
Kali Zoe is in a slightly elevated position with a large
verandah and steps down to a patio area and terracing
around the large, private swimming pool. Pergolas and
flower beds are planted up for colour. There is plenty of
patio furniture, sunbeds, umbrellas and a hammock. B.B.Q.
and parking area. All paths, patios and pools are lit at night.
PANORAMIC SEA AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS.
Being an island, virtually every coastal area of Lefkada has
sea views. Visitors are left with a choice of the two different
coastlines. The east coast is easily accessible by road and has
a few shingle coves to swim from. The views across to
mainland Greece are peppered with a number of islands,
mostly uninhabited. The west coast has steep hillsides and
white cliffs with a few long sand/shingle beaches, worth a
longer car journey or trek by foot. The village of
Tsoukalades near to Kali Zoe is located on the north west
coast and is within easy reach of beaches like Pefkoulia,
Agios Nikitas, Milos and Kathisma. All are within a 10-15
minute drive along the coastal road that passes through the
village, a road with typical coastal scenery.
The directions to Kali Zoe will direct guests to turn off the
coastal road into a narrow country lane behind Tsoukalades
village. The contrast is immediately striking. After passing
through numerous olive groves and dry-stone walls with
terracing you arrive at a splendid valley where Kali Zoe is
situated along with its nearby neighbours, villas Galini and
Circe.
The villa itself is comfortably furnished with an open plan
style kitchen and sitting room. A bright colour scheme with
a Mediterranean feel, pictures and ornaments make it a real
holiday home. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of
wardrobes and cupboards for clothes and belongings. You
can lie in bed and watch the sunrise through the French
windows. The pool is a decent size with ample sun bathing
areas with sunbeds and hammocks. There are shady areas
too for relaxing during afternoon. The rural gardens and
surroundings are full of wild flowers in early season and the
butterflies and birds are an added attraction during the
main summer. For keen walkers, on arrival we supply a
comprehensive booklet of self-guided walks and a GPS map
of Lefkada Island. This rural area does lend itself to walking.
There are a couple of tavernas and a mini – market in Tsoukalades village, however, Kali Zoe is just 15 minutes from Lefkada Town with its wide selection of shops and tavernas, not to mention the daily fresh fish and vegetable markets. It is also a similar distance to numerous beaches, the closest being Pefkoulia beach.
N.B. Our package price includes a Group C car for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/returned to the airport.
