Accommodation:
Ground floor: Large open-plan living/dining area with fireplace, 2 sets of French windows that open onto a verandah. 3 steps up to kitchen area (full cooking facilities). 1 family bathroom with shower. 1 twin bedroom, French windows open onto a terrace. 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and separate shower, and French windows that open onto a balcony.
Lower floor: Large studio accessed externally only. Living/dining/kitchenette (2 rings only), French windows open onto a terrace, a section of wall separates the twin bedroom area, French windows open onto a terrace. 1 bathroom with shower.
Outside:
Steep, terraced grounds of around 2 acres partially filled with olive trees and shrubs. To the rear of the villa is a cobbled path and natural rock face up to olive groves. A steep driveway to the parking area passes the kidneyshaped private swimming pool and sunbathing area. The pool area has sunbeds and a shady arbour. To the side of the villa, steps intersperse the terraces and lead down to the studio, garage and parking area. A path leads from the villa
through the olive grove down to the sea where there is a superb private bathing platform with a ladder into the sea. Portable B.B.Q. PANORAMIC SEA VIEWS.
Just as you enter the village of Syvota in the south part of Lefkada, an agricultural track spurs off and ascends the hillside above the village. Glimpses of the harbour below are revealed through the cypresses and olive trees. After 2 Km, this partly unmade track drops down to Villa Irini and reveals an amazing panoramic view across the sea. There is so much to watch, whether you are sitting on the verandah, the terrace or up on the patio around the pool. A steady
stream of boats and yachts pass by all day long and the surrounding scenery is delightful. The ever-changing natural light reflecting off the mountains of mainland Greece and the nearby islands is atmospheric.
As well as embracing fantastic panoramic sea views, this large, bright, airy villa, is enhanced by the minimalist design and décor. The verandah is large enough to lay a large table and dine outside. To the rear of the villa, a small cobbled courtyard has an interesting natural rock face wall. This
shady area often has a cool breeze sweeping through to temper the mid afternoon heat. The studio below is accessed from a separate front door to the side of the house. It is an ideal addition to this villa, especially for families with Grandparents or older children wanting a little breathing space! There is a natural stone paved terrace and a patio to the side sharing the same lovely views. This villa has been well received by our clients and highly recommended to their friends. From Villa Irini you can drive to a number of bays within 15 minutes. Vassiliki is a windsurfer's paradise with a long beach and a harbour full of tavernas and shops. Mikros Gialos is popular for bathers and the nearest of all is Syvota. A favourite overnight stop for yachts.
N.B. Our package price includes a Group C car for up to 5 people and two Group C cars for 6 people for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/returned to the airport.
