Accommodation:
Ground floor: Main entrance into a large living/dining area with a fireplace, and French windows open onto a verandah with patio furniture. Open plan to the kitchen (full cooking facilities), with French windows onto the adjoining verandah. A cloakroom with a WC and wash basin. A few steps up to a master suite with 2 sets of French windows onto a balcony, 1 double bed, sofa and furniture, a dressing area with built in wardrobes and en-suite bathroom with shower. Frommain entrance steps lead down to the lower floor.
Lower floor: 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, and French windows that open onto an adjoining terrace. 1 twin bedroom with French windows onto an adjoining terrace. 1 family bathroom with shower.

Outside:
This private villa has extensive patios, each on different levels and a private swimming pool with plenty of space around it for patio furniture. Newly planted hedging for privacy, decorative flower beds. B.B.Q. and parking area. Natural stone has been used for walls and patios. All paths, patios and pools are lit at night. PANORAMIC SEA AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS.

There are times when a journey is an end in itself. This is partly true when leaving the coast road to wind your way up through olive groves and through the Cyprus trees to a plateau way above Lefkas town. To be in harmony with the surroundings was the main objective of the ancient Greeks when building their homes. This was foremost in our minds when building this villa. We wanted not only fantastic views but also to be nestled amongst this rural landscape.

On entering Galini you will be struck by how spacious it is. This is not only true internally but externally too with large patios and sizeable swimming pool. The villa has been constructed in an elegant style in split levels to add interest but to also maximise privacy for the villa and the pool. Every amenity has been catered for to enhance comfort and relaxation.

The setting of the villa is in completely rural countryside with views across the channel that separate Lefkada from the mainland. You can see the lights of the farming village of Plagia, mainland Greece, twinkle at night and watch the fishing boats making their way out towards the sea at dusk. There is a natural serenity here; the pace of life seems so slow yet you are only fifteen minutes from the wonderful west coast beaches and Lefkada town, and less than a 10 minute drive to the village of Tsoukalades for the closest mini-market and tavernas.

This villa, along with its two neighbouring villas Kali Zoe and Circe, began construction in 2006 with Travelux project managing the design and build. To say we are very pleased with the end result is an understatement. The villa has proved successful with all the summer’s guests and we look forward to welcoming more new guests in 2010. Villa Galini is hopefully becoming established as a favourite in our programme. Although a quiet location, it is not isolated, just peaceful.

N.B. Our villa price also includes a Group C car for up to 5 people for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/returned to the airport. Over 5 persons will require a second vehicle at an additional charge. A complimentary welcome food hamper will be in your villa on arrival.

Prices shown in Sterling are for weekly rental of the accommodation, which will accommodate up to 6 persons. The prices do not include flights, so if you do not book your flights through us please ensure you make your own arrangements.
