Washing machine is in separate room under the house.

Villa Avra is two years old and is situated within its own spacious grounds. The villa is a couple of kilometres from the traditional village of Tsoukalades. This nearby village has a mini-market with daily fresh bread, and three tavernas. The main town of Lefkada is only a 15-minute drive along the coast road where there is an excellent variety of cafes, tavernas and markets. Lefkada town has a pedestrian shopping street that passes through the centre with a wide variety of shops. The waterfront boasts a newly completed marina with numerous alfresco dining opportunities. The town is still very ‘Greek’ and has not become overly touristy. The town square is splendid and perfect for relaxing with an evening gin and tonic before dinner.

Within a 10 minute drive in the opposite direction are the beaches of Pefkoulia, Agios Nikitas, Milos and Kathisma. Whilst these beaches are close to the villa, for the more adventurous, the further south along the west coast you go the more dramatic and larger the beaches get. The area around Avra is also ideal for walking and making good use of the complimentary booklet of self guided walks we supply.

The villa itself is located in a rural, peaceful setting with panoramic views to the west coast where the sunsets can be dramatic. The owners looked forward to these views on many holiday visits and so enjoyed the island they decided to build their own villa. They have a genuine empathy with the island, showing enthusiasm and care when building their beautiful villa. Avra is an extremely spacious accommodation throughout especially the en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms. Most of the main furniture was shipped from the UK and it compliments the villa beautifully. The interior has been decorated in soft colours giving the villa with its high ceilings a pleasant feel of light and airiness. All rooms have lovely views whilst the outside dining and pool areas are delightful. Villa Avra will appeal to those who want a comfortable villa in a quiet, easily accessible location close to beaches and tavernas.

N.B. Our villa price also includes a Group C car for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/returned to the airport. Over 5 persons will require a second vehicle at an additional charge. A complimentary welcome food hamper will be in your villa on arrival.
