Just over ten years ago, the English owners of Villa Helena travelled to Lefkada and fell in love with west coast of the island and the area around the tiny village of Tsoukalades. In 2009 they set about realising their dream and built this lovely villa which combines both style and comfort.

Set on the hillside, approximately 2 km above the traditional village of Tsoukalades and surrounded by olive and cypress trees, Villa Helena sits in a both stunning and peaceful location looking down towards Lefkada town and the mountains of the Greek mainland. As you drive through the winding olive groves up from Tsoukalades village you have time to breathe in the spectacular countryside. Rounding the corner near the organic vineyard, Villa Helena comes into view, nestling on the hillside.

From the moment you drive through the gates at Villa Helena you will appreciate the attention to detail that was so important to the owners. Opening the front door to the villa and stepping inside instantly transports you to a cool and contemporary haven. The living room is large with plenty of comfortable seating and two sets of French doors leading to the patio and pool area. Leading off the sitting room is the bright and modern kitchen with a large oak table and chairs ready for eating and entertaining. Again, two sets of French doors lead out to another outside seating and eating area and a truly fabulous barbecue. Outside here you can relax in a cool and shady area where the seating is both comfortable and convenient.

Two spacious and airy bedrooms, one double, one twin, both with their own bathrooms both offering a bath and separate shower, can also be found on the ground floor.

Upstairs is a wonderful and romantic double bedroom, again with its own bathroom and stylishly furnished. Two sets of French doors leading to balconies with views that simply take your breath away. It is difficult to think of anything more lovely than sitting out here and enjoying an evening drink or morning coffee.

Outside is a sunshine filled patio area with luxury furniture and large well appointed swimming pool.

N.B. Our villa price also includes a a Group C car for the full duration of your stay and will be collected/returned to the airport. Over 5 persons will require a second vehicle at an additional charge. A complimentary welcome food hamper will be in your villa on arrival.
