Alcamene sits privately and peacefully approximately 2 kilometres above the traditional village of Tsoukalades. The villa is one of a small collection of houses spread out in a natural basin with hillside views across the unspoilt olive and cypress trees to the sea and mainland Greece. The tiny village of Tsoukalades boasts several tavernas, a cafeneion and a mini-market. With donkeys still a common form of transport, it is generally sleepy and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished with all the modern amenities. It has three spacious bedrooms all en-suite with an open plan lounge, dining area and modern kitchen. All rooms have French windows opening onto balconies or terraces overlooking expansive countryside and sea views beyond the swimming pool. Villa Alcamene benefits from its proximity to Lefkada town and the spectacular west coast beaches of Agios Nikitas, Milos, Kathisma and Pefkouli, which are all only about a 15 minute drive away.
