I am pleased to present our 2010 brochure, which I hope you enjoy. Whether you are a returning regular or someone new to Travelux I extend a warm welcome.

Travelux, a fiercely independent owner managed company, has been around far longer than the majority of travel companies. We are one of the few that have not changed hands to become part of a multi-national organisation. 2010 will be our 38th year in the travel business.

We are still being faithful to our original principals of providing genuine quality service to the discerning traveller. Travelux has embraced technology and the Internet but not the world of comparison sites and cheap price driven headlines. It is our belief a customer gained on price alone will be lost on price alone whilst a customer gained by good old fashioned service at all levels will stay with you forever.

There can be no doubt that we are in a fortunate position. The islands of Lefkada and Meganissi are so diverse and particularly beautiful, that it does encourage people to visit again. That being said, we do choose not to advertise in the conventional manner in today's competitive market place. Of course, we do have our website, however the bulk of our bookings come from recommendations and a select number of like minded independent travel agents plus the many regulars who continue to support us. A special thanks to them once again. It does mean our guests tend to be those looking for an alternative to the impersonal multi-national travel companies.

Travelux is based in Tenterden in the Weald of Kent and has been a member of ABTA for 37 years, and a long established member of AITO. Linda Herbert, Bob Cooper and Ian Hopley own and manage the company.
